Been a while since I removed a stick but IIRC there should be one either side of the stick itself , they should be top-hat shaped,too. I have a vague recollection of Miles doing a bronze version to reduce the slack on the gearstick? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
SurGie 54 Posted June 25, 2011 (edited) Yeah there was some for sale on here but i missed out because he sold out. I have new top hats to fit from Pug. I only think its for the gear stick area, i have labeled almost every part but there's always some that i've not Oh and i think its supposed to go between the bolt head and the top hat not directly onto the gear stick hole. I dont believe it is for the gear rods areas as iv seen a picture of them before taking them apart and no plastic washer Any ideas welcome, remember im using/doing the VTS engine, engine bay, gear areas and thats about it. SurGie 54 Posted July 15, 2011 At last Iv remembered what this washer is for now, its for the spare wheel bracket clamp. It goes inside the boot so when you turn the bracket to get the spare out it wont scratch it all up. Im quite surprised no one knew what it was for.
