Be3 1Fz / 406 Gearbox Help

i was cleaning my gearbox when i found "BE3 1FZ" code stamped on it, after searching the net ive found out that the box is from a 406 2.0 engine. i was told that i had a ph1 306 xsi box so im alittle unhappy with this.

does anyone know the ratios for the 406 box? so i can see how it compares to other boxes, also had anyone else used the box or know if the box is fitted to any other models?

 

its fitted to a gti6 engine BTW

there will be another code on there, something like one of the following;

 

CH42 TA46 TB76 (CHD2) (TAD6) CHD2 CH42 TAD6 TA46 TA13 TA47 TB45 (TB45) TBG6

 

 

it'll be a 4.15 or 4.52 final drive, but the rest is difficult to say specifically without a direct code, it'd take aaages to list the variations of ratios.

ive got "8DR2" on the diff housing, also what looks like a VIN number - ZOTA14 8617555 B, also has "7FJ" on the side.

 

just want to know if its going to be long and lazy like the 1.9 or short n snappy like the 1.6, i was told that the "xsi box i had" was going to be like the mi16 box, short 1st/2nd and long (ish) 5th
