They are the tits :) and very expensive

 

Call Abmotorsport, he sells all the parts and rebuilds them.

depends on which type, Early ones are a waste of time now as the crownwheel is special, Later one are fine but no better than Tran X etc

In reality I believe they have much better actuation, ballache of the 306(?) driveshaft inners, but they are expensive to maintain as the fricton material on the plates means they are expensive to keep tip-top. If you're after the best of the best, fair does, but personally I'd rather run a tran-x and just replace the plates 3 times as often and accept it's 75% as effective for a feck load less outlay...

I can get my hands on a cheapish second hand one, as too how old it is im not sure,

 

Its not far off the price of a new Tran X, so taking into account the re build cost of the ZF would this be a better option?

Bloke at Tran-x said he's has done 12k miles without a rebuild!obviously depends on what the car is used for
