Diesel To Gti Conversion

What all is need to change from diesel to GTi.

 

I can et hold of a 205 van with a dead engine. I have a diesel and a 1.6 GTi engine sitting so can go for either.

 

What all needs changing around the car?

 

Would it be easier to run it on carbs than to mess about with looms etc?

Bugger. Both the derv van and the 1.6GTi I went to see tonight turned out to be right old dogs. :mellow:

 

Back to the drawing board and back to searching for a decent 205
