Tyre Advice

Recommended Posts

Strictly_Derv

I've recently put purchased some 13" comp's for my car and put on the tyres from my original steel which are all budget's and are 165 70's so aren't grippy atall. Can anyone recommend some tyres that are grippy and fairly cheap?

I can get discounts on tyres and fit them for free at work so that should save some cash

Also what profile should I go for as I can't go too small otherwise they'd look tiny...

Look at Yokohama A021R. They were (still are ?) a control tyre for an oval racing discipline so you could get them quite cheap in 13" from oval racing suppliers.

I get part worn 888's, just find championship that use the size you want as a control tyre.
