Starter Motor Fixing - Cap Screw Lengths

Hi all,

I just wanted to know what sizes the 3 starter motor mounting screws are. I took mine off to check it and discovered I only had 2 of the possible 3 cap screws.These are M10 - 60mm with 30mm threads. Is the third one the same length and does anybody know the relevant part numbers, I looked on service box but couldn't find them.

Right, servicebox lists the lower 2 bolts (marked as A in the diagram) as being m10x60mm, and the other one (marked as B ) is m10x65mm.

I saw that schematic but didn't think it was my motor. Item B looks a bit short though doesn't it (if it's meant to be longer than the other 2)

I've just ordered 3 bolts from peugeot andd I have ordered 3 of the long length bolts, when I looked on servicebox the top bolt looks shorter than the other two but the bolts that came off were all the same length (mi16 engine). I havent picked them up yet but i'd be suprised if they were wrong.

just a quck note for anyone in the future looking for the part numbers as the same bolt fitted all three holes of my starer motor fixing

 

6913DO for the bolts

696211 for the washers

 

3 of each cost me £6.98 incl vat 23/6/11
