Mi Breathing Hard!

Hi all im having a problem with my mi16 breathing oil. its so bad its putting oil everywhere inside the engine bay. i cleaned it all up not too long ago for a car show but within a month its back to how it was. would adding a catch tank of some sort in place of the airfilter i have in place now? its annoying as its oil and its coving the gearbox, battery, bonnet and scuttle panel.

Are all the breathers definitely clear, routed correctly and no kinks or anything else that would restrict it's ability to breath?

 

Certainly the last Mi16 I saw that was doing this was down to a badly routed breather pipe that allowed oil and gunge to pool halfway down, which meant pressure built up until it spat the oil everywhere. Breathers fixed, and it was good as gold and didn't spit a drop of oil afterwards.

Had the same problem two months ago, my engine launched my dipstick and oil everywhere. Checked breathers first but they were ok, then did a compressiontest and one cylinder was low on pressure. Took it apart and found one pistonring that got stuck in its groove. (Probably got hot because i had to drive about 10 mils back home on 3 cyl. because of a broken injector) Changed the rings and no problems so far.
