Cheap As Chips

Recommended Posts

Hey

I was just wondering what the verdict was on these chips that sell for £10 on e-bay and claim to replace the need for the airflow meter. I still cant get my car running and wondered if my AFM is knackered as I serviced itby cleaning it up with a bit of electrical cleaner but then tried pulling the socket out of the side and think ive broken some of the insides. Ive tried it with and without the wire and the whole unit and now the car wont start. Should the car start if this is faulty? I was thinking yes although mine is lumpy as hell some of the time anyway and I reckon the AFM is to blame? Any ideas guys?

Ebay and £10. Doesn't that speak volumes without even considering the detail?

If you think the AFM is faulty, replace it with a known-good tested item

Sounds like the POWER RESISTOR OF JUSTICE!!!! That unfortunately no longer sells on eBay - it was a very well written spoof of such ads.
