Oil Pressure

Just wondered what the oil pressure should be on my mi16 1905 unit when cold its 3/4 up the gauge when engine is hot at about 2000 rpm its about half way. On idle when hot this drops to just under 1/4 on gauge idle is about 900 rpm is this about right or on low side thanks all

Nothing about those readings from an inaccurate gauge would cause me concern.

the guage is only a very rough guide.

 

if you are worried then get it tested with a proper accurate guage for peace of mind.

For an Mi16 (ever been rebuilt? ) that sounds pretty normal but then the senders aren't that accurate.
