Convert A 305 With A Solex 34/34 To Injection.

Hey,

I just got a 305GTX 1.9 thats got a horrible Solex 34/34 carb on it.

The auto choke broke on so I got angry and snapped it off.

It now runs like a complete pig when cold and you do the 'fairy dance' to keep it going.

Now the odd question, I took off the injection from my 205GTi and converted to Webers and have all the manifolds, injecors etc sitting doing nothing.

Has anybody ever done this, ie the wrong way round, lol! I dont really want to go aftermarket ecu route as I have everything sitting here already.

My biggest problem is that I cut through the loom to get it out of the way, so does anybody have a standard 205GTi engine loom thats not been butchered, or even a wiring diagram so I can put the two halves back together!

Is it something like XU92C. Actually that might be the 1.9 carb engine from the 405.

Engine code most likely will be XU9S 159A.

The ecu wiring for the 205 GTI is fairly simple, only one side of the plug is wired & iirc non of the wire colours are duplicated, the only one that might be a problem is the sheilded cable from the coil.
