Gearbox Mount

Can anyone tell me if the gearbox mount in the 205 is the same as the one on the 306 as they look to be the same and I have a new 306 g/b mount sat in my garage?!

 

Save me having to get as far as trial fitting the mount and finding that it's a slightly different size.

Very different, the 306 one has a larger hole in the middle

Just double-checked and it's only some models that are the same, so best double check.

I believe the TU bush is the same as the 205, all the others as Miles said have a larger centre bore and have a big spacer tube over the stud.

 

edit, randomly ones from a 1.8 8valve 306 is the same part number, but none others

 

found on many other pugs, especially the 106, lots of 406's with ally block engines
