Is this a 1.9 or 2.0 Mi16?

1.9 Mi16 uses the same oil temp sensor as 1.6/1.9 8v models and a wanted post would no doubt source you a used but working one.

2.0 Mi16/S16 uses later style oil temp sensor as found in Phase 2/3 GTi-6's etc and I'm sure will still be available from Peugeot

Right, first thing i need to know is what thread is your oil temp switch, as there are two for mi16 engines. (i assume you mean the 1.9 Alloy engine). The two threads are m14 and m16. Th early one (m16 thread, part number 24250) is indeed no longer available, however, later ones had a m14 threaded one which is still available; part number 024281 (£17.02+vat). So if you need the later one with the 14mm thread then you are sorted!

I searched for about six months and got what I'm led to believe was the last one held by any Peugeot dealer in the UK a couple of weeks.

AutoFive are listing one, but I wasn't able to contact them.

Try Neat Auto's. They offered me one for £12.99 (I'm assuming it was used) after I bought the part off Peugeot.

Wanted ads can be very hit-and-miss. I posted one and didn't get any response.

I have found a citroen garage I think it's in wales showing one on their system, but it's 'old stock'. They might still have it but may be skipped after a stock take? If anyone wants the details give me a pm.
