Hi

I´m about to renew my front dampers on my track racing 205(No road use).

What kind of dampers would you reccomend?

AVO?

Bilstein?

Gaz?

Thanks

Penske linear bearing dampers.

Cost you 6 grand sterling though :P

Honestly, having talked to the race team at my old job running a Mini R56. They lost 2 seconds a lap around a ~1:18 lap using AVOs over bilstein. So always ended up fitting the old, tired looking bilsteins.

Funnily enough a well known Mini challenge prep firm that i'm friendly with do the same!

Can you still get hold of the bilstien tarmac inserts for coilovers? Are the tarmac coilover billie any better than say a Gaz gold?
