4 Pots/standard M/c?

will 4 pot wilwood brakes work with standard m/c?[have tried a bias pedal box before and could not get on with it] would change m/c to different size if it will help if anyone has any experience of this set up?

pedal travel will probably be too long, a 406 one will sort it

The only Wilwoods I've driven have been twinned with a 406 23mm MC, and that combination gave pedal travel that was about as standard. I suspect that a standard 20.6mm MC will work, just pedal travel will be a little longer than standard, much like say GTi-6 calipers on a standard MC.

pedal travel may not be that long, depends on the surface area.

 

IIRC the Wilwood calipers that were used in a group buy on the 306gti6 forum (inc brackets to suit std gti6 discs) had a surface area slightly lower than the single 57mm piston of the standard gti6 caliper.

ive finally almost got the new engine back together and suppose next thing is to make it stop faster![still have the xsi 266 brakes on for smeatharpe tho]

Got mine done, a lot better now as well with the gear change.
