Squeak Interior

Hello there,

 

I know we all have squeaks in our old 205's but in the past week I've had a really annoying one develop in the inside of my Gti. ( I think it's inside!)

It's coming from the drivers side of the dash/footwell. The problem is I can't look where it's coming from when its parked up because there is no squeak!

It gets squeakier as i drive faster, not rev. I wondered if you knew what it might be?

Sounds like a grommet in bulkhead is missing/knackered have a check where clutch and accelerator cables come out.

If it gets squeakier as the vehicle moves faster then it has to be rotational noise, look at wheels, brakes and driveshafts (anything that rotates) I agree that a gromet is out too, this

will be why its louder
