Cam Wheel Hits Master Cylinder

Recommended Posts

After the installation of a new top engine mount, I find now that the cam wheel is coming in contact with the master cylinder when the engine is under load. Is there a way I can combat this? I have had a suggestion from the Aussie Frogs site to tilt the underside of the brake booster but is there any other ways or suggestions?

Thanks from Oz,

Moo

In addition to that, lever the engine over before nipping up the gearbox mount, add a big spacer behind the rear buffer of the top engine mount...

are you running competition mounts? these help stop the engine moving under loads. Also have you got the bulkhead strengthening plate fitted, if so and it's fitted to the outside of the bulkhead it will compound your issues
