Mi16 Mocal Kit

Does anyone have experiece of the mocal sandwich plates ( with thermostat ) on the Mi16?

 

My cooler is mounted in the front bumper, about the same level as the filter.

 

The problem is, when the car has been standing for a few weeks, the oil cooler drains down, as a result although the low oil pressure light

goes out instantly on startup, the pressure takes a few secconds to build.

 

Has anyone fitted a one way valve to the feed?

what filter are you running? some don't have the one way valve that they should have.

Its a genuine peugeot one.

 

I suspect I have the feed and return pipes connected the wrong way round.

 

Does oil come into the outside of the filter and out of the centre?

 

Why oh why dont the mocal sandwich plates have in and out on them...?
