Oil Coming Out Of The Dip Stick

hi guys i sold my 205 gti6 on ebay the other day and someone came to collect it to night, they were sound people and new there stuff.

it was pointed out to me that when the oil breath on the head was blocked up it was causing preasure in the crank and spitting oil out of the dip stick.

they imformed me it could be head gasket or piston rings, is this right or could it be somthing else?

Dont block the breather and it'll be fine!

Doesnt the crankcase breather go via the head breather then to the inlet tract on a standard gti6 setup? So blocking the head breather is effectively blocking the crankcase breather also. So any blowby and crankcase pressure will have nowhere to go and as such will force its way out the dipstick. As welshpug says, unblock the breather! Its there for a reason!
