Have you checked your fuses?

Fuse #1 cobers all of these items.

Should have a 10a fuse iirc.

checked the fuse and replaced just to be on the safe side

checked up at the dash and I seem to be getting all my lives and earths bar from the rev counter earth?

If i supply an earth the rev counter works but still no other lights work.

STOP, low oil pressure and high coolant temp lights are all triggered by the low oil pressure switch - could be that's faulty or there's a wiring issue.

If you mean the dash illumination lights, have you checked the dimmer switch under the dash? If this is disconnected/broken that'll cause the lights not to work. Clue is that the heater control panel lights won't work either.

ahh the heater control lights dont work so might be the switch. Can you bridge out the wires to by pass the switch to check if thats the problem?

I have the sensor on the sump disconected due to breaking it when I re fitted the engine but think thats the temp switch?

Yes, just joining them together is fine - indeed, that's how base models that don't have the dimmer switch are done.

That's the oil temperature gauge sender.

The oil pressure switch is the smaller of the two next to the alternator, but if you've still got the brown multiplug near the gearbox that can cause issues too.
