I quite like them, they suit the rectangle headlights and make it look very retro. I still have it in storage although the XS has long gone.

They kept coming up on eBay awhile ago. Not my cup of tea personally!

A company called Lester used to make them. More commonly found on Mk3 escorts with Rattlesnake kits. Thankfully most owners scrapped them with the car. There's retro and there's just plain s*it!

Horrid, having seen them on various cars (mostly Ford Escort or Sierras) I'd never fit them to any car.

I expect you'll find them in the Hasynes "Improve & Modify your Peugeot 205".

A company called Lester used to make them.

Wasn't there also a bodykit company called RG or something that made the rubber spoilers etc for ford (also mentioned in the haynes book)?

Graham.

They were considered dogg toss at the time by us.

The rattlesnake kits were fugly as well.

The only good twin lights were the proper mk1 golf ones which we all had on or GTi's.

I think it would look better connected to the rear beam ^_^

My one is different to the one now up for sale again

I think mine has been connected the the rear beam at some point with the amount of cracks around the top right

edges. The ebay one does look better with having the grill bars at the side of the lights instead of smooth.

Richard Grant Mouldings (RGM)

They did this type of grille as well (Very Kat / Tickford Capri)

Looks like this seller has sold a few of them so there is demand for them it seems. TBh i like the ebay one more than the one my XS had, mine has smooth sides and was cracked a lot too which made it look even worse. I was not really that bothered how it looked as it was an A to B car, you should have seen the drivers side, proper rusty back then
