Underside Of Throttle

Can someone tell me what the metal outlet underneath the throttle connects to? It looks like a hose should be connected but if thats the case where does the hose go to? I'm still having idling problems and am wondering if this is another cause.

Cheers.

depends what you mean, there are 2 outlets approx 8mm thick that are coolant feed/return.

then there is one about 3-4mm which is for the dizzy vac advance pipe.

Thanks mate. I think its the smaller of the two on the left side as I look up from the floor (hence where I noticed it yesterday). Looks like its either missing or has come loose and is lying somewhere unattached and unnoticed.

Theres always something.

Update and I didn't understand this reply the first time I read it. I'm either missing the coolant feed or return as the dizzy vacuum is connected. As I stand in front of the throttle looking down, its the one on the left just above the top of the starter motor. It appeasr to branch out diagonally to the left. Where does it connect to and which is it - feed or return?

cannot remember which one is which on throttle body but one goes to header tank the other goes to the T piece on stat housing, the one with bleed screw on.

it is quite common for them to be removed as we dont get cold enough temps over here, mine is done away with.

what has probably happened is the header tank pipe has been cut and connected straight to T piece and the remains of one of the pipes is still connected to throttle body and the other has been removed.

Had another look and the header tank pipe is the one connected directly. Forgive my ignorance but what is the stat housing - is that the blown air heating system? As this on is not in use, should it be sealed off or is it okay as it sits?
