2.0 8V Turbo Chip

Hi all I currently have a 406 2.0 8v turbo engine in ny 205 and wondered if it would be worth getting remapped to gain more power. Any comments greatly appreciated.

Chipping an turbo engine will give you more power.

just put a boost control valve on it and wind it up to 1 bar. The std ECU will handle up to 1bar (from 1/2 bar as standard)

I'll second M@tt's reply. I had a Xantia Activa that I wound the boost up on and it was awesome.

Ok thanx guys just bought a adjustable valve so will see how it goes. How accurate is an in car boost gauge? Can I trust it?
