Engine Hoist?

Recommended Posts

I am going to pick up a 1.9 8v engine next week and was wondering if anyone in north somerset/bristol area has an engine hoist i could hire?

i can get one from HSS but would rather bung a member on here a few quid rather than them.

As above! Two people can quite easily put an 8v in the back of a car, or are men from Somerset not like Wiltshire blokes :lol: (Wiltshire born, Wiltshire bread, strong in the arm, thick in the head )

thanks for the replies.

as it goes i am not a carrot crunching somerset man i am from birmingham.

i am going to pick it up myself so do you reckon i will be able to manhandle it in the van?

only reason i asked was it is a long way to go to pick it up so did not want to turn up there and not be able to get it.

I'd say if you can lift the hoist in and out of the car you'll manage the engine :D
