Has anyone ever used any aftermarket underfelt? I need to replace mine as it's ruined after 20 years and wondered if anyone can recommend anywere that sells it. I've only found 2 places one was a minimum order of 40 and the other is

When I did mine I could not find any of the proper stuff so I got some water proof foam underlay from carpet right.

It is similar sort of stuff to what people sleep on when camping.

Not quite as thick as proper stuff so I used double layer.

i need to replace all of mine when the car gets put back together, so would be interesting to see what suggestions there are.

I did see some underlay in wickes for under laminate floor that was a felt like, seemed about right thickness.

I used the latex backed felt from Coverdale. IIRC, 3m will easily do a 205 for about £25. If you've still got the leftovers from the rotten originals, just use them as a template.

I went to a scrappy and got the underlay out of a 106. Fits nearly perectly without modification, only a little bit around the handbreak needs trimming with scissors.

And they only wanted a couple of quid for it :)
