Minty Sauce 2 Posted May 11, 2011 I have some nice fresh plump rear 3/4 pop out window seals to fit, Is it just a matter of pulling off the old ones and pushing the new ones on once the windows have been taken off?
smithy 1 Posted May 11, 2011 I have some nice fresh plump rear 3/4 pop out window seals to fit, Is it just a matter of pulling off the old ones and pushing the new ones on once the windows have been taken off? pretty much but personally i would put some sealant in the groove before putting on,i found mine were letting the water under seal in to the groove and then in to the quarter panel through the gap between inner and outer panels.Once inside the quarter panel the water ran down the trim and under the carpet. Minty Sauce 2 Posted May 12, 2011 OK, putting sealant on sounds like a good idea. Thanks for that!
