Found out that my gearbox housing is broken :S.

 

Does a gearbox housing from a non gti 205 fit, If I get all the guts out of mine and stick it back in the other ?

Any BE box will fit, so all the diesels share the same housing, obviously different ratios. Other boxes you use could are 306, xsara and mi16. You may as well source another gti box as they are fairly plentiful and cheap.

as long as by non gti 205 you dont mean 1400 etc as they have the ma type box
