Link Arm Boots - Anti Roll Bar

Recommended Posts

1905 adam

Hi,

1987 205 1.9 gti

The lower boot on one of my arb link arms is split. Is it possible to just replace the boot (part not listed in service box) or do I have to replace the whole arm?

Thanks in advance,

Adam

The drop link boot? They are very cheap to replace, may as well replace both for about £20.

So you can just replace the boot? Not the whole arm?

woops reading that back its confusing, I was trying to say you may as well replace booth drop links as they only cost £20ish for both. You prob could replace just the boot if you found one as they have circlip type rings on them, you would have to take it off so may as well replace it.

The boot is not available separetly to my knowledge. But the drop links are cheap enough to not worry and fit new.

that's me selling those on ebay, but they're for the bottom arm balljoint. I'm not sure they'd fit the ARB links. They may fit some but you get different sizes of boots on the ARB links depending on if they're genuine or pattern sometimes
