1.6 Hubs 1.9 Brakes

can anyone tell me if the front brake calipers from a 1.9 gti will fit on an early 1.6 gti? search function doesn't seem to be working for me at the moment.

If you use 1.6 disks with your 1.6 hubs, then 1.9 calipers will bolt straight on (use the 1.9 caliper bolts)
