History Of My Car

Recommended Posts

This could be a completely pointless post but I've been told my car may have some history so thought I'd ask on here!

I bought it last year from the east anglia area with a 94 reg and paperwork, I was told it has had two previous owners, a son and later his mum to travel to the shops (according to vosa it had done about 100 miles per year for the past 3 years - travelling to the shop I assume)

But before that (2007 I think) it was on a personalised number plate: FL16

I cant get access to any of its history on this old plate so that's where the questions start.

It was pretty much mint, 35k miles on the clock and original, unscratched with a really bright colour still!

The seller (a garage) said it had previously been a showroom model, not sure where he got this info from or really what that would mean...

When I bought it, it had a garage sticker in the rear window but I removed it as it had faded and looked bad. Probably should have noted it on reflection.

It's a red, Phase 2, 205 Sceptre, 1.4 single point injection TU3 and Standard in every way

No marks or damage on mats, dash, carpets, seats, hub caps, bumpers, anything!

The engine was so clean too, it had clearly been really well cared for and has the most pull I've ever felt from a 1.4!!! Love watching the front lift as it pulls away lol

Bargain for £650 I think...

Anyone know of the FL16 plate or have any ideas why this car was kept so mint???

Unfortunately, I've not cared for it in quite the same way but still a fantastic little car!!!
