Cj Engine?

Hi I have a 205 1.4 cj, I have been looking at the mi16 and 3.0 v6 conversions that people have been doing and got very excited but I can't help thinking about just dropping a gti 1.6/9 or finding a way of making the 1.4 more powerful as I have seen a few on twin carbs but cannot find the kit for my engine, sorry it's a bit of an essay but any ideas as I'm lost thanks Scott

There is plenty you can do to the TU engine to make it into something that is a lot of fun and pretty pokey. There are plenty of topics on this forum covering it in the projects section too.

I'm running a tuned 1.6 TU in my 205 which is on Jenvey SF bodies etc, you could start with my project topic for a start

Its sounds as though you have no idea what you want or what your going to use it for! You need to set a purpose for the car and have a goal for the environment you want it to thrive in, such as B road blasted, long journey cruiser etc Then you can build an engine/choose one for the job.
