Tps On 1.9 Mi16

I am currentlly struggling with raw idle and also it does not go to revs. It tend me to the TPS which I probably adjusted not correctly. Does anyone know how to adjust it properly? Could anyone help?

The TPS on an 1.9 Mi16 is basically just a glorified swtich, exactly as fitted to 8v engines.

 

Set it so that it just clicks when you shut the throttle, and clicks just as you begin to open the throttle.

 

When it clicks you should get a circuit between two of the pins on the connector if you check using a multimeter.

 

If the TPS is adjusted wrong or is faulty then you will have problems with the idle, as the ECU won't operate the idle control valve properly.
