Retro Revival

Hi,

 

I'm looking into getting some welding, rust treatment and a respray for my Sorrento and have found a company called Retro Revival in Nuneaton who seem to have experience with 205's. Can anyone give me any feedback on this bodyshop from personal experience?

I used them last week.

 

I'd recommend them, they seem to know what they are talking about and appear to be quite experienced with bodywork (mostly vw's i think).

 

I didn't look too closely, but they had a freshly painted red 205 out the back - and it definately looked the part. I'm getting a few quotes for bodywork but I might use them myself. I wouldn't have a problem with them doing any work on my car.

 

The only thing i would say is they didn't have a card reader so you can't pay via chip and pin which i didn't find out until the day of collection. Whether or not It was faulty or whatever I don't know but its worth asking as i had to pay cash which was a slight hiccup as i only found out the day of collection.

if your looking for a good reputable company in somerset, Kynaston autobodies in taunton. all my 205's have been done at kynastons.

I've bought bits from them in the past, but not had any bodywork done with them. Seem like honest enough chaps. fairly small outfit (well, they were a few years back) so not surprised they have no card reader...

 

...but does seem a long way for you to travel, is there a reason you're considering them all the way up here!?

somerset isnt too far from Miles in Hampshire, he has a man he uses for bodywork afaik
