Selling A Car Abroad

So I'm selling a car on behalf of a workmate, its gone on another forum to a Norweigan guy who is flying over and driving back.

 

Anyone been here before, and know what to do with V5 documentation etc?

Fill out the box for export on V5c and post it to the DVLA, irc he takes the rest of the V5 so he can import it.

 

I sold a motorbike to a guy in Poland, he paid over the asking price and collected within 48 hours.

Yeah as above, sold my Land Rover to someone in Germany. They need to have the majority of the V5 to import and register it there. You just fill in and send off the section thats for the export.

When I sold my 309 GTI Auto to a guy from France, I had to send off the V5 to Swansea in the buyers name at my address and then give him the whole V5 when it came back to satisfy the French authorities.

I'm in the process of selling my Gt4 to a guy in Holland. All you need to do as said is fill in the permanent export slip and he has the rest.
