Is It Possible ?

Recommended Posts

I am currently in the process of converting my twin dellorto setup to throttle bodies.

I have the tb and manifold etc all sorted I just need to sort out the ecu and loom.

Is it possible to get a standard Peugeot ecu (not just 205) to run this setup?

I had planned on running the following inputs.

Throttle position sensor

Water temp sensor

Air temp sensor

Crank sensor.

From doing a bit of digging around I know that some Peugeot ecu's are remappable. Could I get the ecu remapped so that it runs the above setup?

I also understand that points of view is to just go down the route of a full standalone ecu (omex, emerald etc), but I don’t have a massive budget so I am trying to investigate other angles.

Any thought and info would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Ian

yes there are some that can do this, but in the long run its far easier to get hold of something like an S40.

As said, the GTi6 is mappable but the cost of mapping is huge and no re-sale value, at least with Omex etc the value stays around 80% of the RRP for years, Inlet manifolds are the same for Carbs or bodies providing there not those Bike things
