Clarion Cd And Auto Changer Help

Recommended Posts

Astronought

Hi,

I've no idea when it comes to cd players and this is the first time I will have had any dealings with a cd autochanger, so any help would be great.

I think what came with my car is not original, but there was a Clarion CD2294B and a 2293A autochanger. I don't even know if these can be used together as they were not installed in the car, can anyone tell me if they work with each other and if so what cable is required as there isn't one in the car ?

There was also a CDC605 autochanger amongst the bits and pieces that came with the car, I have no idea about this either.

Also what came as standard or an option in a K reg CTI?

Thanks

I've had a look around and I can't see any exact details. I know that the late CTIs came with the option of 3 head units, but what those are, I am not 100% sure. I would assume they are the same as the GTI options. I'll keep looking. My 1993 didn't come with the original head unit so I can't help you there.
