Need Help With Hoses

Recommended Posts

Tjalde^

Hello,

Finally I began on my conversion. I just have two problems (right now :))

I found a tank with a hose from the throttle housing, I think it is called. A picture will show better:

What is the bottle doing? And what to do with the hose from the throttle house?

Then there was a hose in the bottom of the intake. Is this hose supposed to be fitted on my catch tank?

I hope you can help me.

I forgot to say that the tank/bottle is placed under the left head light.

The first two photo's show the charcoal filter and the take-off point on the throttle body for the solenoid. This is part of the emisions control and it filters the fuel tank vent (i think). Your car must be the motronic.

This might cause you some problems when fitting the carbs as your dizzy wont have any advance weights fitted.

The take off point on the bottom of the inlet manifold is for the SAD.

I see. Thank you for the answer. I have just read something about the Motronic and it says that there is a crankshat position sensor. Is this why I can not see the three plugs from the dizzy? They are doing quite the same job - I would say.

Thats right, the crank sensor is bolted to the top of the bell housing. Motronic controls the fuel and the spark.

Thank you very much. It was nice to know. Do you know if it is possible to wire motronic, amp and coil together to get a spark?
