Brake Lights Not Working

Hi All

 

Sorry for such a vague posting. However, I have recently removed my dash on the 205, and although have not rewired anything and was very careful, the brake lights do not work now. Thing is, they did work fine after I stopped playing around with wires, then stopped working all together...for no apparent reason...

 

I have checked the fuses, none blown and all in correctly...I have checked and pressed in all terminals on loom (the small green boxes etc)....

 

Is there anything else I should check? I no doubt you have probably gathered from this I have no electrical knowledge of cars!

Check the brake light switch above the brake pedal, and in particular that you haven't dislodged the wires connecting to it.

 

Otherwise, a multimeter is your friend for tracking down issues like this.
