gtiburge 0 Posted April 12, 2011 my car has a loud wuring sound when driving it can only be a wheel bearing i hav jacked up the car and cannot get any movement out of any of the bearings what other test is there to find the 1 that is making the noise and is a job that can b done on the car ? and what would a garage charge to do this Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

allye 530 3 Cars Posted April 12, 2011 Its not a job that can be done on the car. the hub has to come off and the carrier off the hub, its needs a press also. If you take the hub off and supply the bearing a garage would charge no more than an hours labour, should be less. If your lucky you could do it with a vice!
