Alarm Wiring

Eventually I plan on fitting a Toad alarm that I removed from a car I broke.

 

I labelled all the wires when removing it so have a good idea how to refit it (or not).

 

But as previously mentioned quite recently on here by someone the two immobiliser circuits have pretty thin cables to connect to which doesn't make much sense especially when the starter motor orange and red cables on the ignition are quite thick.

 

This got me thinking, would the use of a relay help the situation?
