Front Struts Allen Key Size?

as per usual I dont seem to have the right size allen key to fit something. On this occasion its the front struts (the bit at the top which you jam an allen key to stop the shaft from spinning when removing the top mount

I'm gonna try and get one tomoro, but I dont want to end up with yet another bunch of allen keys that dont have the right size

Is it somewhere around 7-8mm?

did mine up the other day sure it was 6 or 7mm

must be 7 then think i tried a 6mm, i'll make sure i get a 6,7 and 8mm just to be on the safe side!

OE front struts are 7mm. Aftermarket shocks can differ.
