On a serious note, can you weigh it for me please?

Is it a 200mm one for a 8V or 215mm for Mi clutch?

Its the GTI 6 - MI16 clutch type, 3.8 KG. I assume the 8v would be lighter

if you look on there site they do loads for the XU engine even for multi plate clutch's,

I was talking about the clutch plate face but it's more of a engineering shop measurement than anything else plus the old ones had horrid machining and hence why I had it redone, It lasted for about 12 months before giving up the ghost.

That's strange, I contacted them to ask a few questions and they quoted me £250 + VAT + postage for a flywheel.

When was that?

Their website says:

Please Note! We have not listed a contact phone number on our web site, this is deliberate as we only sell to the trade.

and the Peugeot flywheels page says:

GTi 6 / Mi16 'Supalite'

With Inductive pulse pick-up

Lightweight billet steel

Single piece design integral teeth

Suits standard diameter clutch

Dynamically balanced

Weight: 4.1Kg

Part number: 0686

So do engine builders balance the crank and flywheel together?

Interesting.

I have e-mailed TTV with what discounts they could do for e.g. 3/5/10 people.

Will post back once I have a reply.

Seems we are at least 3 so far.

Whilst I'd be interested, I need one asap as the engine is out at the moment so a wait whilst a group buy discount would be nice the wait to build the car back up wouldn't be worth it.

Still don't have a mail... Are you sending it via the forum?

I'm not looking for one anymore but it looks like there is a fair amount of interest so you should get a good deal.

I paid late last Thursday and on Monday a very light box arrived.

003-1.jpg

I fitted it to the engine which was simple enough but the supplied bolts didn't quite fit through the pressure plate so I had to file the holes slightly larger.

I hate fitting clutches! It really is the worst job on a car imo.

Good service from Rich and cheap at £240.
