Iso Pins - Where To Buy + Which Ones!?

Herro,

 

I rewired all the speakers in the Rallye today with some nice quality thick stuff, but I have no idea where to buy the pins that plug into the iso or which ones!

 

I'm a complete stereo system idiot! I found this site but I'm not sure if they are the correct ones.

They should be fine. IIRC it'll be the female pins you want, but just check your connectors to double check.

I was going to put the thick speaker wire between the iso adaptor and the back of the head unit as well - as I assumed it would be pointless putting in the thick stuff in and having 2inches of crap wire from the head to ISO?

 

Sorry to carry on being stupid! But do I need M-47 or M-48?

Right, well in that case, just do away with the adaptor altogether. JUst take all of the wiring and re-terminate it all in to the the plug that goes in to the back of the stereo. I'm pretty sure that plug will use the same pins, albeit they'll be the male versions (IIRC). Just look at your connectors and work out if you need male or female. The actual pins themselves will be fine either way, they wouldn't be selling them for this very purpose otherwise! I just used pins that I had left over from my engine loom rebuild ages ago, and they were fine. Mine came from Vehicle Wiring Products.
