1.1 Spi Slight Jerking On Part Throttle

Our 205 Junior (1.1 TU, single point injection) seems a bit jerky on very light throttle. My girlfriend (who drives it every day) says she doesn't notice it, but I do whenever I drive it. Is this just one of those things that they all do, or is there something I can look at/adjust/clean? Over than very light throttle openings it's great to drive, and goes pretty well for a 1.1

have a look around for air leaks on your inlet manifould pipes and seals maybe? or could be fuel filter?

Not much help but I never had this when I had one. Always very smooth from memory.
