306 Gti6 Rear Calipers On 309 Gti?

are gti6 rear calipers ok to use on a 309? the yoke has same part number, but different cylinder part numbers?

They'll fit, but the piston is larger (32 vs 30mm) and thus I'd suggest only fitting them as a matched pair to avoid possible brake effort mis-match issues

As above, you'll get a slightly higher rear braking force with them especially if you retain the usual 20.6mm master cylinder.

forgot to mention i have a pedal box, with bias adjuster, and no servo, so would it matter much about the piston size? cheers

106 GTi calipers are a straight, like for like swap if that's what you're after.

no, they all had 32mm, lower spec 306's have 30mm afaik.
