I use Pilot Exalto 2's and swear by them. All my cars run Michelin Tyres.

I personally find the t1r's ok for the price, but I would spend the extra and have the avon zv5's having tried both. Not to keen on the t1r's in the wet and the rear of my 306 can slide nicely, when promted, with them on, where as the wet performance of the avons is better and loo's is much harder to achive. All my opinions and experiences of course. I think its fair to say everyone has their own pro's and con's

Their research was very US-centric, it says more about American culture than human nature IMO.

 

Studies on the Dunning–Kruger effect tend to focus on American test subjects. Similar studies on European subjects show marked muting of the effect

 

As for tyres, I have had Goodyear Eagle F1s, Toyo T1Rs and Falken 912s and I have been happy with all of them.
