Phase 2 Vts Manifold

Recommended Posts

Peetypug

Just wondering if anybody has done a gti6/vts conversion using the phase 2 manifold and flexi part of the cat?

I hate the hassle of the 2 bolt setup and think the one clip seems a good idea.

The 205 center section needs modifying anyway so why not use it?

Tomcolinjones asked about this a while ago, I think the general consensus was yes but its less of a faf to use the 306 manifold.

Identical to Gti-6, but the flange to downpipe is olive instead of the spring attachment.

Yeah, its an olive fitment on the manifold, then the top of the cat has a 5 inch flex

The best bit is the clip which tightens it up is one bolt accessable from the side not the 2 fiddly ones from below/above

Personally i wouldn't bother. They can be a bit of a twat to remove on a VTS, never mind in a 205 and plus the flexi joints have a habit of falling apart.
