Mot Emissions Failure

My cars just failed the emissions test. Apparently its running too lean on Idle causing a miss fire. Anyone have any suggestions on sorting this?

Check for any air leaks first off, what is the idle speed like?

Get them to have a twiddle with the idle mixture screw on the AFM - mine was dreadful before and perfect after....

Thanks for the replies, I've got a new air hose on the way which goes between the Inlet Manifold and AFM. If it still Idles rough i'll try changing the mixture. Idle speed is currently around 1000 RPM.
