just out of interest is there such a thing as a white dial kit for the xs/rallye dials? had a look but only can find GTI kits.

Sorry, that comment was quite obtuse. Can't say i've ever seen a white dial kit, why not a build a dash like mine with white instruments?

I have to say marks dials and guages are pretty dam cool! I'v never seen a white dial kit for a base model dash though. Jonnygoodhand could make some from vinyl stuff?

yeah mark your gauges are cool but dont think i would get away with it for my competition class. i just think because the rallye/xs had a bigger rev and speedo dial than the gti it would stand out better in white, not that i ever look at them much, just the shift light

 

yeah thats a idea but i have a feeling john would probably need a larger order to justify it. I contacted him recently about the rallye embroidered patches, thought they would look cool on the head of my plain black bucket seats but he does not make them anymore.
