Refurbed Washer Bottles And Header Tanks

Recommended Posts

Arahan

I think I've found a perfect way to refurb washer bottles and phase 1/1.5 header tanks, but just wondering what people would prefer, white or a colour that was closer to original?

Also, does anybody know how much they are new?

Thanks!

:)

The washer bottles are semi tranparent and can still be bought from peugeot for under a tenner. The header tanks im not sure about but I prefer the phase 2 tanks that dont discolour.

Yeah I know, the refurb wouldnt compromise transparency. Didn't know they were under a tenner though??! Thats a bargain!

Any part number?

It doesnt matter that they discolour as the refurb will bring them back to fresh and should last a fair while. Also people want originality, and a ph2 bottle on a ph1/1.5 isn't original :)

Also people want originality, and a ph2 bottle on a ph1/1.5 isn't original :)

Not to mention that nobody seems to have yet sussed out how to wire in a Ph2 level sensor on a Ph1/1.5 car.

Which is even more annoying as I picked up an alloy ph1/1.5 header tank not knowing this, so now I'm going to have to sell again

I will do before and after pics, still need to pick up a header tank but hopefully ed_cherry will sort me out with some soon :)
