In Or Around Sheffield - Got A Tow Vehicle?

I know nothing will likely come of this as it is a big ask

 

I'v seen a 205 shell I want to buy in Lancaster but my car dosnt have a tow bar - and I dont have a trailer - would have to rent a trailer.

 

so does any one fancy a road trip to rescue a shell ? beer/fuel money would be provided ofcouse

afraid i cant help but if you get no luck then i've rented a van from Serpent Van Rentals in Chesterfield which had a tow bar and then rented a trailer from BDS in Sheffield although there are Purple Trailers in chesterfield which would save a bit of a round the houses trip to return the trailer.

 

there was 200miles/day limit on the van though and as i was going to bognor and back i pulled the speedo cable out the gearbox which meant the mileage didn't go up

Do you remember how much the van / trailer cost to rent ? trying to do this in a bit of a budget but i will keep it in mind if no one can help

Don't know about the van, but BDS trailers charge £35 / day or £ 50 / weekend, but that was a few months ago, prices have probably gone up.

got a 406 with a tow bar and could get hold of a towing dolly depends when you want it done.
